This apparatus is the most commonly used type for determining the color fastness to rubbing in Japan. It employs the Ⅱ type friction testing machine of Test Methods for Colour Fastness to Rubbing (JIS L***9). Mainly used for the evaluation and judgement of dyeing fibre rubbing fastness. According to the exchange use of various optional accessories, it conforms to many testing methods.
